We live in a complicated world...to say the least. The current state of our society often leads us to functioning from within a state of fight-or-flight, which is a high anxiety state.
Fight or flight certainly has its place, but it needs to be set down, or shaken off, immediately afterwards. It is not a state to live in constantly, as it seems so many are finding themselves doing these days.
Maintaining a state of fight-or-flight for extended periods of time leads to excessive and intrusive worrying that disrupts daily functioning, agitation, restlessness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability, tense muscles, and trouble sleeping.
Releasing through shadow work can help us to move out of the fight-or-flight into a state of resting Bliss.
Shadow work is not a battle, it is an embrace. Do not push down and suppress the denser energies, but embrace and listen to these messages from a state of love and gratitude. This is the way to ultimately release. Working in this way can bring about massive shifts in your life.
You choose what you experience. Pay attention to your vibrational state. Become aware enough so that you can start fine-tuning your vibrational state many times throughout the day. Be aware of what you are feeling, for that is also what you are radiating...and what you are radiating is what you are attracting more of.
If you are feelinganxiety, take the time to address that. It is a practice. Pay attention to what it is that you are feeling, to what it is that your body is trying to tell you. This is one of the ways that your subconscious mind most effectively communicates with you. Otherwise you are just running blindfolded through the woods. Keep yourself on a path that you choose to be on.
Today I invite you to set down the business of your day for a few moments of sound healing.
Put on some stereo headphones, press play, put down your phone, and close your eyes.
Allow yourself to relax into these sounds, and utilize this time to listen to what your body is trying to tell you. Do you feel fear, anxiety, or agitation? Don't push it away...allow yourself to move into it.
What is coming up around these denser feelings? Utilize your intuition, don't overthink it.
These are your shadows, but by shining light into the shadows you may be able to find where they are actually coming from. Maybe it's from something legitimate...or maybe it's from past experiences and traumas that no longer serve you, and by identifying them, maybe you'll finally be ready to set them down.
I invite you to try this, put on some stereo headphones, press play, put down your phone, close your eyes, and listen to what your body wants to tell you.
