In each and every moment our consciousness creates the world we inhabit and our world is a reflection of our conscious awareness. If we start to consistently see things negatively, we will start to manifest a consistently negative environment in the world around us. Does that mean we have to always maintain a constant state of positivity at all times in our lives in order to have a good life? No. Absolutely not. Negativity can be an extremely helpful tool that tells us to “Wake up. Get out of your mind. Stop judging. Be present.” You just have to pay attention and start recognizing negativity for what it is...simply...a wake up call.
Negativity, including unwarranted fear and anxiety, are signals from our deeper self that are telling us to be more present, let go, and flow. Start to see negativity as a signal to get back into this present moment. Negativity comes into our lives when our present moment is lost in thoughts and judgments about the past or future, or lost in egoic judgments about the present, which generally comes from judging against what has come in the past or what you expect in the future. If the present moment is lost to us, we miss out on all the magic in life that's happening everywhere around us, right now.
The ego projects itself into the past and future, that is where the ego lives, in another imagined time, not in this present moment. When we are truly in the now, when we are truly present and not lost in the past or in the future, life is truly blissful. We are not the projected thoughts, or the unnecessary judgments, or the imagined scenarios, or the regretted past of the ego. Those thoughts, projections and imaginings are judgments, prejudices and anxieties about thoughts on the past and thoughts on the future. They do not exist in the present moment outside of the egoic mind.
The meaning we assign to things in our reality is what defines them for us. By themselves, things are meaningless, everything is just meaningless circumstances until we add our personal definition. We must put the positive effect in. No matter what it is in life, it's positive if we make it positive. If we start to recognize the anxiety inducing negativity of egoic judgment and fear, we can use that negativity as a signal to remind us to check where we are at and come back to the present moment out of judgment and fear based thoughts. Once we learn this we will free a lot more than just our minds.
Collectively we must awaken out of identifying with only the manifested material world outside of us. When we realize that at the most basic level, our existence here is unmanifested potential that we are calling into existence from moment to moment in the only time that ever exists, the present moment, then we will be truly at a point where we are ready to take complete responsibility over our own lives. You don't have to change the world. You don't have to change other people. You only have to change yourself. If we all change ourselves, then the world is changed.

Recognize and utilize the signals available within you at all times. Consciously expand your conscious awareness. Be the light you want to see in this world.
